WHO TOLD YOU THAT IS A JOB YOU NEED
WHO TOLD YOU THAT IS A JOB YOU NEED
I was chatting with a friend last night and while the chat was going on I felt this strong anger in me to talk about what you are reading now, I found out that in the Africa especially Nigeria today most people think what they need is a job so they can come out of being broke, get satisfied and fulfilled but that's not the truth (school and our parents lied to us though it's because they only had exposure to that kind of belief).
Many students are in the university sweating to come out with good grades (even some of them do all night and ask God please even if it is just pass grade let me have and leave the environment of the citadel of higher learning) .
I was also having such beliefs until I encountered a different set of belief systems that opened my eyes to the truth which is who told you is a job you need, many people carry files containing their credentials and some upload it online hoping that they will accept them and call them for the job but how long will you put your life on hold waiting for a job that sometimes may never come except oluwa intervenes and this why we must ask God to open our eyes to see what we are not seeing.
Now many of us will be asking or even criticizing me that I am against you getting a job but that's not what I am doing, just be patient and read till the end of the article.
Looking for a job is not and should not be the first thing to pursue after and let me even add this to it, going to school to be certified a graduate so you can get a good paying job was the first wrong mindset we were suppose to have dumped into the waste bin because that's not the purpose of going to school ( no time to talk on the purpose of going to school today, maybe another time). If I understood what I am sharing with you now when I was in school , I would have become a bigwig by now. (what I mean in essence is that I would have not be where I am but we thank God).
After graduating from school and serve your father's land (for those that like the kaki and jungle boot), the next thing you should do is not thinking of getting a job even a job is good, you should sit down and ask yourself the following questions.
If you can get answers to those questions then jobs will look for you and not you looking for a job, I won't go into each of them but I will just talk on one which is WHAT DO I HAVE PASSION FOR.
The reason why many graduates today are seeking for any kind of job is because they don't know what they have passion for (exception to those who knows it but are taking the job as a way to build their passion and when it's time they leave the job), my focus is on those who just apply for any job without considering what they have passion for, I do tell my friends and people I have opportunity to speak to in a conference or seminar (meanwhile you can book me for your seminars and conferences, reach out to me for details) that I can't work in a bank because I don't have passion for such a job (I don't hate banks oh lol), this made it easy for me to know what kind of job I will go for because I don't want a job that will cage me from deploying my passion and potentials.
Many people are frustrated in their place of work because they hate seeing documents on the table with figures saying last week customers that came to buy bag of rice and groundnut oil rather they see themselves holding the microphone and singing songs of hope, freedom, peace and love to the audience. This is what happens to majority from Monday to Friday (for some Saturdays and Sundays).
Are you seeing why you should not be in a hurry to get a job even though a job is good, you should get the above questions answered to an extent so you will not be frustrated and unproductive in your working place, many people who are working are only collecting salary and not adding any value to their organization.
If they sack many people today from their jobs they will become sad, battered, sorrowful, bittered and unproductive with insults on their lips to their boss because they don't know that what they needed to do was to get acquainted with their passion and develop it into an undeniable skill that nobody can reject.
Show me two people who are working in a bank, one is working for salary sake and the other is working with his passion that he has developed into an undeniable skill then you will know that the first one will be sacked when recession hits the economy.
Oh oh God have mercy, a lot to say but the article is getting too long, chew those ones and apply them. I await your testimonies.

After graduating from school and serve your father's land (for those that like the kaki and jungle boot), the next thing you should do is not thinking of getting a job even a job is good, you should sit down and ask yourself the following questions.
- WHO AM I
- WHY AM I ON EARTH
- WHAT DID GOD PUT ME ON EARTH TO DO
- WHAT DO I HAVE PASSION FOR
- WHAT ARE MY GIFTS (Remember the bible says your gift will make room for you not your job...you can check proverbs 18:16
)
