VISION IS SPECIFIC

VISION IS SPECIFIC                       I still remember vividly that fateful morning I was travelling from Bayelsa to Lagos. Barely two hours into the journey, my inner eyes were opened and I saw it! Seated on a vast land were several buildings in simple rectangular shapes with huge windows. The entire surrounding was covered with well-maintained lawn and beautiful gardens. There was motorway leading from the main entrance. Each building housed a specific level of education beginning from early childhood to young adulthood. It was more than a school; it was a centre designed to help build the youths who will build nations. Surely, there is more to what I saw than the vague description painted above. In fact, Spain had 852 passes in the first half of the game but Russia's only effort on goal, produced the equalizer. Of course, you knew how the game ended - the Spanish team bowed out 4:3 on penalties. This was after it was tied 1:1. I have observed, just like the game taught me, that scoring life's goals is not necessarily on how much you have or how gifted you are. In fact, if you are true to yourself, you admit that sometimes, you see people you
